The State Treasurer of the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia, Maurice Benson, will deliver the San Remo Remembrance Day commemoration address.

Maurice was a medic in Vung Tau during the Vietnam War.

The service will start at 10.30am on Remembrance Day November 11, at the San Remo Cenotaph.

Poppies will be available for those wishing to place one at the Cenotaph.

Morning tea will be served afterwards at the San Remo Hotel and members of the small group organising the event are grateful the town's two hotels which are prepared to continue a long-standing tradition of taking turn to provide the refreshments.

The commemoration is auspiced by the Vietnam Veterans Sub Branch VVAA.
