U17
In an amazing display of skill and strategy, Phillip Island emerged victorious over Tooradin with a commanding nine-point lead.
From the outset, Phillip Island set a brisk pace, demonstrating strong passes and precise shooting from Meika and Matilda that quickly put them ahead on the scoreboard.
Their defence was equally as impressive, with Sophia and Isla adeptly intercepting passes and forcing errors from Tooradin's attacking.
Sophia's strength was obvious in the number of deflections and intercepts she managed to take which were successfully converted to goals.
The midcourt battle was fierce, with Maya dominating the centre with plenty of intercepts and deflections, leaving no stone unturned.
She was strongly supported by Tilly, Jisara and Jazzy who used their arms over to contest nearly every ball and worked hard to find space to receive passes and move the ball swiftly down the court.
Phillip Island's cohesive teamwork and disciplined play allowed them to secure a well-deserved victory over the top team.
Coaches Cath and Carly were deservedly proud, as was the team.

U15
It was set to be a tough match, with Tooradin sitting just under Phillip Island on the ladder.
The first quarter started slowly with a one-point lead to Tooradin.
The Island's strength in the midcourt (Piper O'Brien, Ellie Hennessey and Isla Humphries) during the first half and some strong shooting (Mia Hughes and Aisha Hibbert) saw Phillip Island heading into half time with a four-point lead.
Throughout the third quarter Tooradin fought back and maintained the four-point margin.
Great defence and turnovers by goalkeeper, Adelle Hecker and goal defence, Matilda Trew who kept the fourth quarter tight. The Island were on the way to victory.
Additionally, wing defence from Maisie VanDerWalt kept the midcourt nice and tight, providing great defence to their opponents.

U13
The Island's U13 team basked in the sun as they faced off against a formidable Tooradin side on their home court on Saturday morning.
In the centre position, Kate held her ground, while Abi and Piper launched an aggressive attack.
The Island managed to score four-points, trailing Tooradin's five.
Charlee, as the keeper, played with determination and Macy displayed sharp defensive skills.
Despite the score favouring Tooradin by 12 points throughout the third quarter, the game remained exhilarating and fast-paced with Tooradin ultimately emerging victorious.

U11
Both teams battled fiercely for four quarters, culminating in a hard-fought draw.
The game showcased exceptional skill and determination from the Island's girls, each quarter was tightly contested.
