Island LDNA girls work hard
This week's Phillip Island LDNA reports.
U13 Red
On Saturday July 27, the Island's U13 Red team faced off against Bass Coast Thunder Netball Club.
The Island girls were primed and ready to deliver another strong game after their solid wins over the last four rounds.
They hit the court with fire from the first whistle, executing strong play in the midcourt at the hands of Hazel, Georgie, Ella and Miranda, providing Aliza and Maddison the opportunity to secure a blistering goal lead of 17-0 by half time.
Stand out intercepts from Alexis, Sera and Sophia throughout the second half, and a change up in the goal third (with Hazel and Ella taking the circle) saw the Island secure a scorching win of 21-0 by the final whistle.

U13 Blue
Despite several key players absent, the Phillip Island Blue team delivered an outstanding performance in their latest match against Mt Eccles, taking victory 29-2.
Demonstrating the skills honed during training, the team showcased exceptional shooting accuracy and remarkable self-belief.
Players confidently embraced new positions, adapting seamlessly and contributing to a well-rounded and dynamic game.
Their ability to integrate training techniques and adjust strategies on the fly was impressive, highlighting their dedication and versatility.
Best on court: Brylie Peterson and Millie Brewin.
U13 White
The Phillip Island White team faced top-of-the-ladder Kilcunda Bass over the weekend.
Heading into a tough match with positive energy, the Island were on point from the first whistle after a fast centre pass break, which allowed the Island to take the lead.
Fierce defence against top Kilcunda Bass shooting resulted in crucial turnovers the Island's way, slowly keeping their score climbing.
Flowing passes right to their targets in the midcourt and fantastic efforts in the ring meant by the second half the Island had a small but important lead - the team just needed to persevere and stay strong.
The Island's efforts paid off, resulting in a fantastic win.
