LDNA U13s fight hard against Fish Creek

Philip Island U13s Leongatha played Fish Creek, the current number one ranked team in the league.

During the first quarter Philip island came out fighting and matched Fish Creek 3, all with some excellent shooting done by Verity and impressive defence by Georgia and Scarlette with Sarah playing a critical role in centre. 

In the second quarter, the lowest scoring of the game, again the teams emerged 5 all with Olive and Georgie insuring the ball was snatched away and taken back to Phillip Island attack team. 

In quarter three, Fish Creek pulled ahead significantly with an aggressive attack.

During the final quarter Philip Island made a comeback, Verity and Olive scoring strongly unfortunately Phillip Island was unable to make up the lost ground from quarter three.

The final score was 23-11 to Fish Creek, it was a tough but epic game, well done to the team for the resilience and tenacity.
