On Wednesday August 13, Newhaven College Prep students celebrated 100 days of school.
Students and their teachers, Kerryn Lynch and Karen Faulwetter, got into the spirit of the celebrations arriving at school in their 100-themed costumes.
Preps were given the task to decorate their clothes with 100 items, with loads of imagination and creativity on show. Clothes were adorned with buttons, stars, eyes, pom poms, beads, gemstones, hearts, lollipops, cherries, cats and even 100 balloons on the house from 'Up'.
Dressed in their costumes, the Preps proudly paraded through the Junior School then met up with their Year 6 buddies to continue the celebrations.
Through the day students competed in sports activities and completed several literacy and numeracy activities that involved the number 100. As part of the celebration, students ate fairy bread with 100s n 1000s and made special crowns to wear with their buddies.
