Term 4 Program highlights
A new mindfulness-based stillness meditation: Looking for a different approach to deal with day-to-day stress?
This six-week evidence-based course will help participants to reconnect with themselves in a supportive group of like-minded people. The course includes weekly themes, guided meditations and everyday mindfulness tools.
Cooking with Tony: Back by popular demand Chef Tony Goodlet will guide participants through two delicious four-week cooking courses. Each class includes a three-course meal.
• Modern Australian with multicultural influences will focus on Australian-Asian, Indian, Greek as well as Vietnamese-French fusion.
• Fresh handmade pasta: Learn how to make lasagna, ravioli, tortellini, ribbon-style pasta and gnocchi from scratch.
Chair Yoga with Melanie is a gentle practice that supports strength, flexibility and balance.
Chair yoga is ideal for anyone with mobility limitations or looking for a more relaxed approach to movement.
Also available this term are community skill-building classes and volunteer opportunities.
Looking to the future, the program details a proposed Gippsland women’s health and wellbeing event in March 2026.
This event is set to create a safe environment for women to connect, support each other and access evidence-based health information.
Women from across the region are invited to register their interest for this event now.
“This term we’re excited to welcome new faces into our social and community groups,” added David.
Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill, improve your wellbeing or connect with others, PICAL’s Term 4 program is your invitation to get involved.
