Island Paw Prints pet photography have been working with animal rescue groups for over two years now.

“In that time we've met some amazing people, been moved by every single animal’s story, and been shocked to the core by some heartbreaking abuse,” said photographer and animal lover Serra Clisby.
Currently dog rescues are run off their feet.

“The boom in dog rescues during the Covid lockdown has resulted in an influx of dogs surrendered once people have gone back to work,” Serra explained.

“We are proud to volunteer our photography services to help out any animal to find their forever home.  To date we have helped rehome 65 local pets.”

If you would also like to help out rescue dogs in need there are several things you can do:
Adopt: you can adopt a dog that needs a new home.
If you can’t adopt, you can foster.
If you can’t foster, you can donate.
If you can’t donate you can share posts on social media so the rescues reach a wider audience.

“There is something to do for everyone in animal rescue and with your help, we can make it just that little bit easier,” Serra said.
If you’d like to make a donation to Starting Over Dog Rescue: Commonwealth Bank. BSB 063-184. Account 1037 3408.
