U16
A beautiful frosty morning at Dalyston.
Phillip Island started strong kicking three goals to Dalyston's one in the first quarter.
The midfielders were hunting the ball, and the forwards were eager to score.
Backed up by solid defence from Caleb Cantwell and Bud Marshall in the second quarter, Dalyston 's defence got better turning the match into a highly contested game.
The Island's overuse of handballs and poor entries into the forward line made it difficult for them to score.
Dalyston fought hard all game, but the pups were too strong winning by 39 points.
Best: Zane Larsson, Zack Sund, Callum Chambers, Caleb Cantwell, Kolby Carton, and Archer Bailey-Cox.
Score: PI 53 def Dalyston 14.
