The A Team! KB Undefeated for entire season

What a way to finish an incredible home-and-away season.

The A Grade girls travelled to Warragul Industrials for the final round of 2026 and put together another dominant performance, coming away with a huge win.

And with that, the girls finish the entire home-and-away season undefeated!

An incredible achievement and one that speaks not only to the talent within this side, but to their consistency, hard work, and the way they have played for one another all season.

And if that wasn't enough, Saturday also saw an enormous individual milestone, 1000 Goals from Emma Ryde.

This incredible goal shooter Emma officially ticked over 1000 goals for the 2026 season, a phenomenal achievement, and a reflection of the outstanding season she has had.

Of course, 1000 goals don't happen without some special work happening around her.

From the defensive pressure and turnovers at one end, through the transition and feeds into the circle, this milestone is also a beautiful reflection of just how well this entire group works together.

From long-time Kilcunda-Bass girls to the new faces who joined us this year and immediately embraced the Panther family, there is something genuinely special about this group.

They are talented, absolutely, but they're also humble, supportive and committed to each other, and that has been just as impressive to watch.

What a season so far, girls, be proud of what you've achieved, but you are not finished yet.

B Grade
What a fantastic effort from the whole team.

They had a few players battling through illness and injury, but they still stood up when it mattered and gave everything for the team.

The determination, resilience, and commitment from everyone was outstanding, and it showed on the court as they came away with a convincing win.

There was plenty of teamwork, great communication and strong support for each other throughout the game.

It’s hard to pick just one Best on Court because the whole team deserves the honour.

A huge effort from everyone — what a way to finish the season!

C Grade
In windy conditions down at Warragul the C Grade girls held with Warragul in the first half.

Unfortunately, Warragul were just too strong and took the second half away with a loss.

The second half of the year has shown that C Grade team has improved and worked hard all over the court.

Well done everyone on a great season.

D Grade
D Grade came out firing and showed pure class in a performance that highlighted just how far this team has come throughout the 2026 season.

Their passages of play were outstanding, with slick ball movement, determination, and team spirit on full display.

The team was thrilled to welcome Millie back to the court following her earlier season injury, while Jilli was warmly welcomed for her first senior game.

While the Dusties eventually gained the upper hand and pulled away for the win, there were plenty of positives for the D Grade girls to take from the match.

Their improvement, confidence and commitment have been impressive, and they have certainly shown plenty of potential heading into the 2027 season.

U17
And that’s a wrap for the 2026 season.

A massive improvement on the scoreboard against the strong Warragul side so look out 2027.

For a bottom aged team, the girls took on the season willing to learn and prepare for what’s to come.

U15
The U15s wrapped up their 2026 season at Warragul Industrials, going down in the final game of the year.

While it wasn’t the result they would have loved to finish on, the scoreboard certainly doesn’t tell the story of this group or the season they have had.

There have been some incredibly close games, some fantastic wins, some tough losses, and plenty of lessons along the way.

But what has stood out most has been the growth in these girls — individually and as a team.

Week after week they have continued to turn up, work hard, support one another, and keep fighting right to the final whistle.

They have built combinations, grown in confidence, and shown just how much potential there is within this young group.

To the players, thank you for a wonderful season.

Be proud of how far you have come and everything you have achieved this year.

Watching you grow, not only as netballers but as teammates and young women, has been an absolute privilege.

A huge thank you also to the coaches, team officials, parents, families, and everyone who has helped with scoring, timing, first aid, fruit, transport and all the little things that happen behind the scenes every single week.

Junior sport simply doesn't happen without you.

The final score might read as a loss, but this season has been about so much more than wins and losses.

U13
Kilcunda Bass U13s – What a season!

The equation was simple this week, the U13s needed to beat Warragul by 15 goals to make finals.

Unfortunately, our challenge became even tougher when we lost our goal-scoring specialist Emily to a training accident on Thursday.

But in true K-Bass fashion, the girls rallied together and took to the court with an enthusiasm that completely belied the horrible windy conditions.

The girls fought hard all game, but with limited opportunities in the goal circle, Warragul eventually proved too strong, taking the win.

While it wasn’t the ending they were hoping for, the girls should be incredibly proud of their season.

They’ve improved enormously, played some fantastic netball and, most importantly, have done it together as a team.

A massive thank you to Coach Anna and Trainer Kylie for keeping the girls on track, focused and, most importantly, having fun all year long.

Another big thanks to all the parents for their support and commitment to another successful season.

Hold your heads high, girls, it’s been a fantastic season and there’s plenty to be excited about for next year.

U11
Kilcunda Bass U11’s finished their season on Saturday with a great game against Warragul Industrials, going down with a loss.

The team started strongly and held the lead until half time, showing fantastic teamwork, determination, and skill.

Unfortunately, Warragul fought back in the second half and managed to secure the win.

Despite the result, Kilcunda Bass should be extremely proud of their efforts and the improvement they have shown throughout the season.

Congratulations to all the players on a wonderful season.
