Island netballers and Koo Wee Rup battle it out - C Grade
Phillip Island: 33 def Koo Wee Rup: 26.
It was a beautiful day with sunny and still conditions setting up for a great game of netball which our C grade girls provided.
From the very start we had wonderful sharp shooting from Bella who maintained it throughout the game and our strongest performance yet by Lawri in goals also getting her eye in and scoring well.
There was beautiful timing and feeding into the ring by Nikki who was helped out with the fierceness and drive around the court by captain Tori.
A return to the mid court for Karina provided more space throughout the court.
In defence Rose was relentless in her efforts in shutting down the WA and never giving up.
A dominant display in GD by Chloe who was helped in the goal ring with tight defence and great rebounding by Taylor.
There was good defensive pressure maintained throughout the whole court and the game.
Throughout the whole team there was a positive vibe during the game, great team spirit and court connection which led to one of our best games yet.
The rest of the season looking promising.
