B grade played a strong, contested game against Inverloch over the weekend and were able to keep up with their opposition for the majority of the game.
Throughout the match, defensively the Island was strong and maintained control. Ring defenders, Sophie and Anthea took many intercepts and rebounds, allowing the attacking end to convert the turnovers into goals.
Additionally, the attacking end played a strong and smart game.
Unfortunately, the Island was unable to maintain that momentum, allowing Inverloch to gain a lead in the third quarter and take home a win.
