On Wednesday, October 25, the Phillip Island ladies golf club held a teal day in support of ovarian cancer.
With the weather not on our side, the ladies marched ahead through the hailstorm, to play 13 holes of golf.
Our committee was approached by Christine Hammond’s family whose mother is an ovarian cancer survivor.
We decided an auction was the best way to bring in fast cash.
With various games and raffles on the day, the ladies were getting right into the putt for wine comp.

A huge thank you to our sponsors: Sue Payne from Phillip Island patchwork group and Flowers of Phillip Island.
A thank you to Hammond’s family for the delicious cupcakes and all individual donations.
All funds raised on the day will go to ovarian cancer.
Winners were Helen Coghlan, Maureen Ellard, Wendy Hospkins and Vicki Rossmith.
