U17

The U17 Bulldogs enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at the Kennel on Saturday, producing a dominant team performance against Garfield.

Phillip Island controlled the game from the opening centre pass, moving the ball smoothly through the court and applying relentless defensive pressure to record a convincing victory.

Every player contributed to the strong result, with excellent teamwork, communication, and effort across all four quarters.

Congratulations to award winners Matilda Trew and Isla Humphrey, who were outstanding contributors in a fantastic all-round team performance.

U15

Phillip Island 15’s vs Garfield was a closely contested match, with both teams battling hard from the opening whistle.

The Islanders held a narrow 9–7 lead at quarter time, maintaining their advantage throughout the game.

At both half-time and three-quarter time, Phillip Island led by just one goal, highlighting how evenly matched the contest was.

Heading into the final quarter, Phillip Island lifted their intensity, producing a strong finish to create some breathing space on the scoreboard.

Their teamwork, determination, and composure under pressure proved the difference, securing a hard-fought victory over Garfield in front of a home crowd.

U13

Phillip Island U13s recorded a strong win over Garfield, but the Bulldogs certainly had to earn it.

Despite the scoreboard, Garfield applied plenty of pressure whenever the Islanders had the ball in hand, making for a competitive contest.

Phillip Island’s ability to stay composed and deliver a consistent four-quarter performance proved the difference.

The teamwork, effort and concentration were on display from the opening whistle to the final siren.

Well done to the little Bulldogs on another impressive team performance.
