A chilly winter morning at Garfield saw the Island girls start strong and play some solid netball.
At the end of the first quarter Phillip Island had a 10-goal lead.
Defence players were extremely strong for the Island, resulting in no goals being scored by the opposition during the second and third quarters.
Strong passes from centre court and accurate goals from Phillip Island girls also helped to heavily extend their lead.
Garfield came out in the last quarter with determination, but Phillip Island were the stronger side with final scores 54- 9.
