Stong in the air, Emma Ryde takes possesion in the Panthers goal circle during A grade.

U13
Kilcunda Bass U13s went down to Warragul Industrials in a tough contest on Saturday.

The girls were a little off their usual game early, with a few missed passes and a tendency to become a little one-dimensional in attack.

Despite the slow start, they lifted noticeably after half-time, putting together some excellent passages of play and showing the determination they have come to expect.

Unfortunately, the deficit proved too much to overcome.

A special mention goes to Sophie Blake, who played her first game of the season and made an immediate impact with a terrific performance.

It was great to have her back on court.

Emily was named best on, producing a dominant all-round performance across the court, and leading by example from start to finish.

The girls will be looking to bounce back next week.

Best: Emily.
Score: Warragul 34 def KB 21.
