A Grade
The Kilcunda Bass A Grade girls hosted second-placed Cora Lynn on Saturday in what promised to be one of the biggest clashes of the season.

From the opening centre pass, the game was played at a relentless pace.

It was fast, physical, and fiercely contested, with both teams bringing plenty of intensity.

Having narrowly defeated Cora Lynn 46–40 back in Round 5, the Panthers knew they would need to lift another level against one of the competition's strongest sides and lift they did.

The girls produced one of their most complete team performances of the season, combining relentless defensive pressure, slick ball movement and outstanding composure under pressure to claim an emphatic victory.

While the scoreboard reflected an impressive win, it was the way the team played that stood out most.

Every player contributed, every contest was fought with determination, and the unity across the court was evident from start to finish.

The trust they have built in one another throughout the season continues to shine, and it has become one of this group's greatest strengths.

Still undefeated after 15 rounds, this team continues to set the benchmark — not just through its results, but through its professionalism, resilience and unwavering commitment to each other.

They have let their performances speak for themselves all season, proving that class is shown through actions, not words.

Congratulations to the entire playing group and coaching staff on another outstanding performance.

The Panthers continue to grow stronger each week, and the belief, connection and culture within this team are something the entire club can be incredibly proud of.

B Grade
It was a thrilling game from the first whistle to the last, with the team putting in a fantastic effort.

They fought hard all game, worked well together, and never gave up, making it a real nail-biter right to the final seconds.

Unfortunately, the team went down by just one goal, but there were so many positives to take away from the match.

The determination, teamwork, and support for one another were outstanding, and everyone should be proud of the effort they put in.

A huge congratulations to Kylie Wookey, who was deservedly named Best on Court for her outstanding performance.

Well done to the entire team on an incredible contest, they will take plenty of confidence into next week’s game.

C Grade
The C Grade team took on one of the top teams and they set themselves a team goal.

The team started well and achieved a goal by half time, which was a testament to the girls for showing up, building trust, and playing in some different positions which worked well.

Unfortunately, Cora Lynn was too strong but the score board didn’t reflect the game.

Well done girls let keep up your efforts and stay positive because good things are coming.

D Grade
Kilcunda-Bass D Grade took on the top-of-the-ladder Cora Lynn on the weekend in warm, sunny conditions.

Despite going down, the scoreboard didn't reflect the determination and improvement shown by the Killy-Bass girls throughout the match.

It was a hard-fought contest against a strong and experienced opposition, with every player continuing to work hard until the final whistle.

Pleasingly, there was significant improvement from the first meeting between these two sides back in Round 5, with many players now settled into their key positions and growing in confidence each week.

U17
Another tough day for the Bass U17s coming up against a very strong Cora Lynn who are holding strong the top of the ladder.

The girls kept their spirits high and had a fun time out there despite how the scoreboard looked.

Congratulations to Jilli who played her 100th game for the club and a special shout out to the U15s who stepped up again to fill in for some of the girls who are away on vacation, so thank you Kealey and Eden.

U17 girls will move forward continue to grow and go into the game next weekend against Koo Wee Rup with some confidence as they can really build on what they have worked on all season.

U15
The Kilcunda Bass U15s welcomed ladder leaders Cora Lynn to Panther Park on Saturday, knowing they were up against one of the competition's strongest sides.

While the final score saw Cora Lynn take the win, the result told only part of the story.

When these two teams met back in Round 5, the Panthers went down 46 – 8, making Saturday's performance a fantastic reflection of just how much this young group has developed throughout the season.

The girls took to the court with determination, worked tirelessly for one another and showed far greater composure with the ball.

Their improved defensive pressure, willingness to back each other and ability to convert opportunities into goals highlighted the confidence they have built over the past ten rounds.

Against the benchmark side of the competition, the Panthers not only doubled their own scoring output from the first encounter but also prevented Cora Lynn from extending their previous winning margin — a terrific achievement and a clear indication that the hard work at training is paying off.

While the result wasn't the one the girls were hoping for, every player should be incredibly proud of the growth they have shown this season.

Their resilience, teamwork and commitment continue to improve each week, and performances like this are a reminder of how far this team has come.

Congratulations to all the girls on another determined effort, and the team can look forward to seeing continued development throughout the remainder of the season.

U13
The Kilcunda Bass U13s went down to a strong Cora Lynn outfit, but the scoreboard certainly didn’t tell the full story.

Is it possible to come away from a big loss feeling incredibly proud?
That was exactly the feeling after this one.

The girls produced one of their most complete team performances of the season, taking on a quality opposition with courage, determination and plenty of skill.

From the opening whistle, the team played a hard, first-brand style of netball, moving the ball with confidence and creating some fantastic passages of play as they flowed up and down the court.

More importantly, they never dropped their heads.

They worked tirelessly for all four quarters, supported each other, and continued to fight right until the final siren.

While Cora Lynn proved too strong on the day, the improvement shown by the KB girls was clear for everyone to see.

If they continue to bring this level of effort, teamwork, and belief each week, the wins will come.

Well done girls – keep playing with this attitude and continue to grow every week.

U11
Kilcunda Bass U11s faced the top team, Cora Lynn, on Saturday.

Despite the tough opposition, the team showed great determination, maintained positive attitudes, and never gave up throughout the match.

They continued to encourage one another, worked hard in every quarter and, most importantly, had fun on the court.

Bonnie Logan was awarded Best on Court after an outstanding performance as GS.

The team continues to improve each week and look forward to another exciting challenge playing against Koo Wee Rup next weekend.
