What s on this week...
THE Phillip Island Community Services Group is
hosting the 5th annual community lunch on Christ-
mas Day at St Phillip's Hall in Cowes.
This community lunch is for people who might be
on their own or not in a position to have a Christmas
lunch at home and would like to enjoy the day in the
company of others.
Volunteers will co-ordinate and host the day with
goods and funds donated by the local community.
There is a charge of $5 per person to help with
A Christmas menu will be served and lunch is al-

Transport can be arranged if needed.
Phillip Island Community Services Group is a net-
work of local service providers such as Bass Coast
Health, PICAL, BCSC, local churches and PIRSL.

Hall is to get a facelift.
Established in the late
1800s, the Rhyll hall
sits proudly on the road

The historic and charming Rhyll hall is to get a
Westernport summer gig line-up
THE Westernport Hotel in San Remo is
gearing up for one of the busiest summer
seasons this 2015/16, with the hottest enter-
tainment line-up of big-name artists and local
legends the venue has seen in years.
Having just been re-crowned Victoria's best
live entertainment venue by the Australian
Hotel's Association (Vic), Westernport man-
agement have arranged an incredible enter-
tainment line-up of Australia's top artists
kicking off pre-Christmas and running right
through the summer season, pulling out all
the stops to keep locals and visitors alike en-

ends Mark and Dave on Christmas Eve, the
gig train will keep on rolling.
Enjoy live performances from Pierce Broth-
ers on December 30, the legendary Olly and
Scuzzi on New Year's Eve, a double-whammy
