HOTONDO Homes is excited to announce the
launch of its new 3DExplore ‘virtual tour’ tool.
Utilising the latest in camera technology,
3DExplore allows you to virtually walk through
Hotondo Homes’ display homes from the com-
fort of your own couch.
The new tool will help provide vision and in-
spiration to new home buyers who may strug-
gle to read a floor plan and imagine what the
home will actually be like.
Hotondo Homes managing director Michael
Renwick says he is excited to provide home
buyers with a fun and exciting way to choose a
home they love.
“People can now experience the quality, in-
novation and beautiful architecturally designed
features of a display home where they want and
when they want,” he said.
“Hotondo Homes has multiple display homes
right across the country. The new feature will
help home buyers gain access to these homes,
sometimes thousands of kilometres away from
where they are located.”
There are three different ways to use 3DEx-
‘First person’ allows the user to take a virtual
tour of the home and explore every inch of it up
close and personal.
The ‘dollhouse’ feature allows you to zoom
out and enjoy a complete 3D view of the home.
Finally, the ‘floor plan’ option can be used to
get a bird’s eye view of the home for an overall
Users can explore the homes from their com-
puter or mobile device on the Hotondo Homes

Giving local kids an
environment to read
PHILLIP Island Nature Parks has generous-
ly donated hundreds of books to the Mater-
nal and Child Health (MCH) Services in both
Bass Coast and South Gippsland.
The book titled ‘What Animal Am I?’ was
first published in 2013 and was designed to
enhance early childhood learning.

cial support of ExxonMobil Australia, devel-

This book delivers the message to young
readers to make sure they put their rubbish
in the bin so the ocean is free from rubbish
that can harm wildlife.
The MCH nurses will distribute these books
to families when they attend an appointment.
The MCH service is a free service available
to all families who have children from birth
to school entry age.
The nurses undertake health and develop-
ment checks for children at 10 key stages
from two weeks up to three years.
The nurses also provide a wide range of
information, advice and support to mothers,
fathers and family members about health,
parenting and the early years.
Best Start, a Victorian Government early
years initiative, has been working with MCH
services to help parents recognise the ben-
efits of reading to their children from a young
The importance of reading to children from
birth is well established and research links
this to better educational outcomes.
Best Start is directed by a partnership
group which consists of representatives from
Bass Coast Health, Bass Coast Shire, Noah’s
Ark, Ramahyuk District Aboriginal Corpo-
ration, South Gippsland Shire Council and
